A Brief History:
Origination: The day is to honor a great and modern invention that just never ceases to amaze me. . .The camera! This website would not be the same without some great photographic pieces of art. None of this is existent without a great camera! A camera is an irreplaceable tool used to record and replicate memories, events, and people/places. Before the invention of the camera, the only resource to document a vision was a painting. Capturing an image of a person or place in a drawing took time and skill. Very few people can perfectly draw the likeness of someone, let alone capture the essence of an event. The power of a camera provided many with a simple, inexpensive, and fast solution. George Eastman, also known as “The Father of Photography,” brought the camera to the masses. While he did not invent the camera, he did develop many additions improving the use, ease, and production of the camera. His developments made the camera widely available to homes around the world. While he did not invent the camera, he did develop many additions improving the use, ease, and production of the camera. His developments made the camera widely available to homes around the world. While the first cameras were large and bulky, each later design evolved until some cameras were as small as a pen. Today’s digital cameras have many features and variations, making them appealing to people of all ages for personal and professional use. The portable and easy-to-use features not only allow us to take photos quickly, but we can also edit them on the fly. Flash photography is still used these days in dark circumstances, because of the grain involved with boosting ISO. Also, correct lenses are crucial to implementing that great shot. . .especial when it comes the macro-photography (close-ups). Smartphones with built-in cameras include features that allow us to share photos instantly, too.

It Starts With Exposure with Control of Your Aperture and Shutter Speed: By using a larger aperture you are able to pin-point focus, meaning closeup objects, still shots, or even portraits always have better results on the prime area of focus, hence a better shot of your closeup—no matter what you are trying to photograph. Remember when it comes to aperture, you need to remember that a “larger” aperture always means a “low” f-stop. Back-lighting introduces leaving the exposure to leave more light hit the film no matter whether it is “digital film” or physical film. Increments are two-stops, full-stop, half-stop, third-stop—of letting the amount of light making exposure intensity more. See MORE:

Proper Filter Selection Can Make or Break That Great Photo: Camera lens filters are elements added onto the lens to protect the lens, or to enhance/alter the light, as it passes through the lens to expose the film or digital film. By using a filter you are able to utilize a vast array of effects, lens protection, eventuate necessities, take better close-up object shots. Nothing, and I mean nothing– is worse than losing an expensive lens due to scratches, etching, weather related damage, etc. It can happen in a second! A filter can be easily replaced. There is much choice when it comes to purchasing a filter, and sometimes the right combination of using filters can make or break that perfect photo. The use of filters can be for several reasons, sometimes more than one can be used at a time. Here is an article for the proper use of camera lens filters. See MORE:

The Triangle of Exposure Control Can Harness Great Photo Results: There are three sides to every exposure when it comes to control of the light affect in your photograph.

  • Side 1: Aperture
  • Side 2: Shutter Speed
  • Side 3: ISO

Here is a guide to your control of all three properties, in order to assist in getting the “perfect” shot for the conditions you have to deal with while taking a photograph. See MORE:

Getting a Great Shot of Your Pet: The internet can be a divisive place but if there’s one thing we’re all (more or less) united on, it’s pet photos. Instagram loves a dog, and, with a few handy shooting tips from Versatileer, who knows what exciting opportunities await you and your prize pooch. See MORE:

Turning a Photography Hobby Into a Career: Do you love photography and would you like to make money from it? With a good game plan, you could set up your very own, successful photography-related business. This is a great time to get into photography: According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, demand for photographers is expected to grow by 9 percent from 2021 to 2031, which is faster than average for all professions. I Use Nikon, But There Are Plenty of Great Camera Manufacturers: You know how hard it is to find the right accessories for Nikon cameras. White Balance: See my article concerning “The Kelvin Temperature Scale Defined” in an article concerning where a white balance is most prominent, a sunset. Notice that on the filters opt in for different results per shot. By shifting the spectrum different parts of the clouds show through. This is due to the fact that the parts of the clouds near sunset are affected. In photography, color temperature refers to the warmth or coolness of a color, which is measured in degrees Kelvin (K). Warm colors have a lower Kelvin temperature and appear more yellow, orange, or red, while cool colors have a higher Kelvin temperature and emphasize blue tones. Kelvin explains where the temperature is, but which details are obscured are more of an art. You can see by the photos taken minutes apart, having a colored filter shifted the spectrum to make the cloud cover look like they were almost taken different days. Color filters and black and white are a great customizer for taking photos and making them look different to accommodate style. See MORE:
