Here are photos of August’s set of Full Super Moons, starting with the Full Sturgeon Moon on August 1^st and then a second of the Full Blue Moon on August 30^th! The next blue moon will occur on August 19, 2024, at 1:26 p.m. CST, but this classification of a Blue Moon is because there is four Full Moons in one season–meaning there is one of the extra Full Moons in another year, hence only having 12 Full Moons total in the year 2024. There are 3 Super New Moons in a row in the year 2024. The first super new moon will occur on February 9, 2024, and the other two will occur on March 10, 2024 and April 8, 2024. Super New Moons are usually not visible from Earth unless in conjunction with an eclipse.
