Recap of the Antarctic Annular Solar Eclipse:

On February 17, 2026, the Moon transited in front of the Sun, annularly obscuring it and casting a shadow over certain regions of the Southern Hemisphere, which included the South Ocean, the Indian Ocean, Antarctica, and the Southern Atlantic. This eclipse was not visible from anywhere in the northern hemisphere which included not being visible anywhere from the United States. Enjoy the eye in the sky view from these satellite imagery videos!

Here are the videos of the February 17th annular solar eclipse in the southern hemisphere.

Happy videos! Enjoy the lunar eclipse tonight!
