A Brief History:
Premise: In order to celebrate a more, perfect Union and the heritage behind building up the United States, we celebrate each and every state in the Union!
When: From December 7, 1787 — To August 21, 1959.
Where: Each of the 50 individual states.
Evolution of Each Flag: Each and every state has their own state flag. The flag represents the people–then, now and into the future, that represent each state, the citizen!.
Traditions: Each state has a unique history and individual story behind the representation of its state. The capital city in each state was also chosen carefully by decisions reached in retrospect to the coordinating state’s individual method of choice. We are so blessed to live in a free country that gives the freedom of each state to make it’s own unique decisions. The flag and capital cities are just a prime example of this freedom.
A Few Facts:
I am sharing a few facts, and more, some trivia, some not trivial. . .
- The United States flog is always on top of the mast assortment!
- State flag is next or second.
- County, city or other municipality flags are always under the state flag.
- Capital cities are chosen in accordance with each state’s constitutional guidelines.
- Capital cities are home to each state capitol building.
- Each state has an official motto.
- Each state has an official state song, that can and is changed sometimes to suit a more modern time. But some states choose to keep it to the original picks for longer periods of time..

The Present:
The United States flag still flies high, to the day. With the compliment of each state’s flag, song and mottos–each state has great diversity and heritage behind the legend of the flag! There are plenty of people are still willing to defend their state flag, as well as the U.S. flag to today!
The Future:
We will NEVER, ever forget that the flags of each state are very important as well as the U.S. flag. All those who died in the name of the freedom for which the flag stands, by itself, and with the compliments of their state flags! God Bless the U.S.A.!
