Today’s featured photo of the day! November’s feature is: California
Here is today’s featured photo. For the month of November I am featuring photos of California. Here are two shots of the city of Los Angeles at a distance from one of the lookout points in Griffith Park on a hazy day. Date – November 1991.
Photo #1 taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 50 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/125th second.
Photo #2 taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 50 mm lens, filter=NONE, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/250th second. NOTH shots are loaded with the same roll of Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.
☼TIP: I cannot stress enough the difference a polarizer makes for any daytime outdoor photographic session, especially a hazy day. Circular polarizers are more controllable than using a linear polarizer, because the ability to rotate it to maximize effect is an option. ☼
See you tomorrow with another fine photograph of my favorite state to vacation–California!!
