Photos: Full Beaver Super Moon on November 5th

Weather did permit to catch the awesome way long Super Beaver Moon on November for the second of four Super Moons of this season. We had the first in October (Full Harvest/Hunter’s Moon). Here is the photographic bonus event number two, the Full Beaver Moon on 11/05/25 in Oak Forest, Illinois. The event was so long, I witnessed the rise right at sunset, and you can see from the pictures, that the moonset was after the sun had risen! A truly, longer than the night event. . .

Photos taken with a Samsung Galaxy S24 with the factory triple camera system: 50 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, ultrawide camera has a 12 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree FOV, telephoto camera has a 10 MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom.

What a super astronomical event this was, and all of this year’s events were!!
