October’s Hunter’s/Harvest Full Moon & More. . .

Tomorrow, October 6^th at 10:48 p.m. CST is 2025’s first Super Moon! This full moon marks the first supermoon of the year, appearing larger and brighter because of its closer distance to Earth. The Feast of the Hunters’ Moon is a distinct historical reenactment event that occurs annually in early autumn near West Lafayette, Indiana, with the next event scheduled for October 11 to 12, 2025. The Moon’s orbit around the Earth is elliptical rather than circular, which means that the distance between them fluctuates throughout the year. When the Moon is full at its nearest point to Earth, known as the perigee, or within 90% of that closest distance, it is classified as a Super Moon. How beautiful the nice, large Full Super Moon is!
