September Total Lunar Eclipse. . .
This eclipse going on right now is not visible from North America or the United States. On September 7, 2025 at 10:28am CDST, a total lunar eclipse, referred to as the “Blood Moon,” is set to start, with totality visible mostly in the eastern hemisphere enduring for more than 82 minutes. This celestial phenomenon will be fully observable from certain regions of Asia, Africa, and western Australia, but it will not be visible from North America. Additionally, the eclipse coincides with the September full Harvest (Corn) Moon.

See you: Partial Solar Eclipse – September 21st, 2025. The eclipse will commence at 12:29pm CDST and conclude at 4:53pm CDST, with the peak of the eclipse taking place at 2:41pm CDST. This phenomenon will be observable solely from the South Pacific region, which encompasses New Zealand and certain areas of Antarctica.
