Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF of the whole loop of Hurricane Iona, a Pacific hurricane which remained out in the water for the whole duration of the storm. Iona moved almost completely due west, only north by a few degrees for the whole duration, starting out in the east-central Pacific 45° south (1/8 of the Earth) of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Alaska, at 12°N & 135°W, completely staying south of Hawaii, and eventually dissipating after moving into the west Pacific, crossing the Dateline at 16°N & 179°E (would be equivalent to -181°W), as featured all on one loop on .GIPHY. 2025 Pacific video loops continue the newly revised complete west span from east Pacific start all the way to the 180°W Dateline, upgrade pending by NOAA/NHC.
