Photos: Full Beaver Super Moon on November 15th

According to 49% of my sources, some stated that the full Beaver Moon on 11/15/2024 was a Super Moon. Weather did permit yesterday to catch the awesome bonus Super Beaver Moon for the bonus fourth and really final Super Moon of the Season and until next year. We had the first in August (Full Sturgeon Moon), an eclipse and second last month in September (Full Corn/Harvest Moon), a really close to perigee Super Hunter’s Moon in October. Here is the photographic bonus event number four, the Full Beaver Moon on 11/15/24 in Oak Forest, Illinois. The photos are not an eclipse, but taken on a cloudy day whereby the Moon peeked out of the clouds for a minute. . .

Photos taken with a Samsung Galaxy S24 with the factory triple camera system: 50 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, ultrawide camera has a 12 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree FOV, telephoto camera has a 10 MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom.

What a super astronomical event this was, and all of this year’s events were!!
