Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF of the whole loop of Hurricane Roslyn which started out near 97°W longitude in the Pacific, turning into a hurricane near 17°N latitude. The hurricane headed over towards Puerto Vallarta, even though the city steered past a direct hit. Roslyn brought heavy rain, high waves and ocean surges near the beachside promenade. Roslyn came ashore in an area that had not fully recovered yet, in roughly the same area where Hurricane Orlene made landfall earlier the month on October 3rd. The hurricane picked up speed within the westerlies as soon as it made landfall and moved quickly before dissipating at about 101° west longitude west and north of Monterrey, Mexico. Julia caused about 3 deaths in Mexico. The transition of the Roslyn is shared all on one loop, featured on .GIPHY:
