  2. I remember that the media played President Kennedy’s prediction of a man on the moon before the end of the decade. I remember on Jan. 27, 1967, 3 astronauts set to fly the first Apollo mission the following month — Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee — lost their lives in a flash fire that swept through their command module during a launch pad test at Complex 34. Then of course, on July 20,1969 Armstrong stepped on the moon saying those famous words that went down in history. I’ve watched a few other lift offs over the years. Now we are going to Mars. Yippee!

  3. I have visited Cape Canaveral and thought it was mesmerizing l. I would love to see it during a launch.

  4. Has anyone else had issues with the contest entries “shrinking” when one returns the next day? On the March 26th I had 12/26 entries, but that dropped to 5/26 (on the 30th), then to 4/26 (on the 31st; with +1 for completing a contest entry task; 5/26) and then 4/26 again (on April 3rd).

Today I’ve completed a series of “word of the day tasks” and upped my number of entries again to “12/26”)…. Hoping it stay there this time afound.

  5. This is wonderful, thank you so much! I accidentally posted my zip code in the instagram follow box. My IG is @kolbamber and I do follow!

  6. I’ve never been to Cape Canaveral but I remember the first moon landing and I was watched the Challenger disaster.
