Today’s featured photo! The feature is: Florida

Here is today’s featured photo. Starting today, I am featuring photos of NASA in Cape Canaveral, Florida. My focus is inspired by tomorrow’s first manned spaceflight since July of 2011 – as NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are going on test flight on the SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will lift off on a Falcon 9 rocket at 4:33 p.m. EDT May 27, 2020 from Launch Complex-39A at the NASA liftoff at the Kennedy Space Center. In this first photo is a photo of the runway from the Assembly Center to Liftoff. Wow!! Date – March 1997.

Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/125th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 3½x5″ semi-gloss print.

A fine ensemble of photographs of the liftoff of an Atlas rocket to follow, so that we all can enjoy them for the real liftoff! Please mark your calendar and join me back later on!
