Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Florida

Here is today’s featured photo. I am featuring photos of Florida. My focus is to keep the celebration alive this Memorial Day with my personal favorite photo, after the recent re-opening of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando. In this photo is a perfectly calm waterway capturing Cinderella’s Castle across from Liberty Square while they were celebrating its 25th anniversary. Wow!! Date – March 1997.

Florida_Walt Disney World-Cinderella's Castle 2__Fujicolor 400

Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/125th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 3½x5″ semi-gloss print.

TIP:  The polarizer can make the difference between a good photo and a great one. By dialing it from minimum to maximum, you are able to get the effect and stop at the desired level to suit your photo, as in this breathtaking photo. The photo just would not have been the same without it, as the effect of reflection of Cinderella’s Castle in the water would have been inundated with light from the sky instead of capturing the full beauty of the subject. Not to mention the nice and vivid blue skies.

Another fine photograph to follow very soon of the great State of Florida!!
