Today’s featured photo of the day! November’s feature is: California
Here is today’s featured photo. For the month of November I am featuring photos of California. Here is a great shot of the interior and mountains within Griffith Park. How stunning!! Date – November 1991.
Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/125th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.
☼TIP: Centered horizons never look good. But sometimes going 1/3rd or 2/3rd either way either under or overexposes and/or changes the saturation in the photo. A nice resolution is to opt for 2/5th’s or 3/5th’s centered, to get the right effect as I did above with the 3/5th’s I selected so that the hazy sky was overexposed, yet the subject of Griffith Park in the foreground came shining through, and the polarizer assisted in cutting the haze as well.☼
See you tomorrow with another fine photograph of my favorite state to vacation–California!!
