Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day:
The Texas Lantana

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Texas Lantana.

The Texas Lantana, or the Lantana Urticoides, is have bright, multi-colored clusters that change colors as they grow. These tough shrubs bloom for a long time and do well in warm, dry conditions. They need full sun and well-draining soil, and they typically resist deer and pests. However, some types, like Lantana camara, can invade and outcompete local plants. The leaves and unripe berries can be toxic to livestock and harmful to children if eaten.
