Scarlet Knight Rose Bush

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2024 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is: Scarlet Knight Rose Bush.

The Scarlet Knight Rose Bush, or the Rosa Rubiginosa of the Rosaceae family are a hybridization of a hybrid tea rose and a floribunda rose. This award-winning variety, known as Rosa ‘Scarlet Knight’, features strikingly deep and dramatic blooms that emerge from nearly black buds, unfolding into double crimson flowers that emit a subtle old-rose fragrance. The blossoms can be found either singularly on stems or in clusters, and they maintain their quality well when used in cut arrangements. The foliage is characterized by a dark green hue on tall, upright plants. Grandiflora roses thrive best in full sunlight and well-drained soil conditions.

Scarlet Knight Rose Bush:
Flowers are = up to 3-1/2 inches in size, and attract bees and butterflies:

• Height : 30 to 33 inches (75 cm to 85 cm)
• Width : 2 to 3 feet (60 cm to 92 cm)
• Exposure : Full Sun
