A Brief History on Oreos:
Founded By: The origin of Oreo cookie was initially created and manufactured by the National Biscuit Company (now Nabisco) in 1912 at its factory in Chelsea, New York City, which is now part of the Chelsea Market complex situated on Ninth Avenue between 15^th and 16^th Streets.

Later With the Oreo Name From the Hydrox Name: Hydrox was the original sandwich cookie, introduced in 1908, four years before Oreos were first produced in 1912. Kellogg’s discontinued Droxies® in 2003, but Leaf® Brands has successfully revived the classic Hydrox® cookie.

Oreos’ World Record: In Madrid, Spain, Oreos made history by being the chosen food for the world’s largest blind taste test in 2009, setting a Guinness World Record.

When: March 6^th is a day celebrated every year.
