Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day:
Chinese Delphinium (Blue Mirror)

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let the is year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Chinese Delphinium (Blue Mirror).

The Chinese Delphinium (Blue Mirror), or the Delphinium grandiflorum is a showy, bright blue perennial to annual flower (depending on zone) that attracts butterflies, and unfortunately not a good type to have with any animals or children, as the whole plant–seeds, flowers and plant are all toxic. The Chinese Delphinium grows to a size of 24 inches tall, postered with the flowers on the way up the stems (ranging in diameter not more than a few inches), and with a spread of 18 inches. The Chinese Delphinium thrives on full Sun to partial shade and moderate watering.
