On Saturday, December 31, 2022, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI unfortunately passed away. He was in presence of his longtime personal secretary Archbishop Georg Gänswein, Vatican. He talked with the Lord and told Jesus that he loved Him. He will be missed and his honor will be cherished by many. Born on April 16, 1927, in Marktl, Germany, the pope was 95 years of age.
