Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom.

The Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom, or the Portulaca Oleraces is a non-stop bright yellow blooming, annual plant that sports large blooms highlighted by the shiny and glossy, succulent deeper green foliage. The Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom are spreading plants that are best suited for hanging baskets, window boxes, or as the spiller in mixed container plantings. The Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom is an easy-to-care-for and drought tolerant plant that is sure to impress. The sunny yellow flowers open up very early in the morning and stay open, well into the day or evening. The Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom grow to the size of 18 to 24 inches in height and a small flower size of close to a quarter of an inch ion size. The Petite Yellow Portulaca Purslane Bloom likes a well-draining soil, with the ability to dry out between watering, and the full to partial Sun.

  1. These are very pretty! In my old neighborhood, these were growing next to Four O’Clocks. Just as these would close, the Four O’clocks would open.
