Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Dianthus Grace Bay Pink Carnation

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Dianthus Grace Bay Pink Carnation.

The Dianthus Grace Bay Pink Carnation or the Dianthus Caryophyllusis in the family Caryophyllaceae. They are a carnation with distinctive outline with a base color of a creamy off-white, with edges that are colored in burgundy. The Dianthus Grace Bay Pink Carnation grows in sets of two with dark green foliage on sturdy stems, with tall versions growing to the size of 1 to 2 feet tall and wide, and dwarf varieties reaching 6 to 12 inches tall.
