Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree.
The Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac, or the Syringa Vulgaris ‘Josee’ Syringa ‘Josee’, is another dwarf version of a Lilac that is known for its reblooming. Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree is an attractive, low-maintenance Lilac tree with a rounded and broad shape that is mildew resistant. The Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree is a heavy bloomer that produces masses of small, fragrant, tube-shaped flowers in shades of pinkish lavender and pale purple to pink every spring about two to four weeks after the last frost warning dates. The glossy, ruffled leaves turn yellow-green before dropping from the tree in autumn. The Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree grows to the size of 4 to 6 feet tall and 6 to 10 feet wide, and work beautifully as specimens, mass plantings, borders, or hedges. The Josee Dwarf Reblooming Lilac Tree likes the full sun, and grow best in moist, well-drained soils.
