Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Wreath Nasturtium
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Wreath Nasturtium.
The Wreath Nasturtium, or the Tropaeolum Polyphyllum is a trailing perennial with 5-lobed basal, toothed leaves. The bowl-shaped orange-yellow flowers are borne in late spring to mid summer. The Wreath Nasturtium grows to the size of 2 to 4 inches high and a spread of 6 inches to 3 feet. The Wreath Nasturtium is a prostrate plant originating from the countries of Argentina and Chile. These plants make very excellent borders in very sunny areas as the Wreath Nasturtium is best grown in sunny areas and in mid-level areas, not too wet and not too high.
