Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Yellow Daffodil.
The Yellow Daffodil, or the Narcissus pseudonarcissus L. is a Liliaceae or a Perennial forb, is an early spring species, slightly later than the Wild Daffodil–with bulbs that has stems that grow to 8 to 20 inches–unbranched, somewhat flattened, glabrous, often glaucous. with several bladeless sheaths in addition to several basal long foliage leaves. Plant daffodils in a sunny spot, one that gets at least 6 hours of bright sun each day.
