With another one of the driest and hottest years on record, the western wildfires are of concern to a lot of persons. Some of my followers in the western states appreciate an update on the wildfire situation! Be very careful if warnings get called. NEVER try to outrun or even out-drive the fires. They can move at unrealistic speeds up to and including over 90 miles per hour. Stay informed with local authorities, and be ready to move at once when authorities deem necessary. ALWAYS follow through with a warning and order to vacate. I have safety information on my Tips For Playing it Safe Near a Wildfire – Tips & Resources post. Visit the NOAA NWS Fire Weather website for more important information. Here is the latest July 2021 Update with the Latest Maps and Information for the U,S, wildfires:

This is so scary and sad to see, I wish every day that the West coast will get some rain! I grew up in Oregon and have lived in California multiple times and only remember lots of rain and everything being super green. It’s depressing, to say the least. These maps are really helpful to see though, thank you so much for sharing! I will keep praying for everyone involved.
I hate that this is something that happens. Everyone please be safe! Another reason why I would be afraid to live in those at risk areas.
its heartbreaking the trees/animals etc that are being destroyed by fires. My state so far is not having them in my area
