Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – Vintage Architecture

Here is today’s featured photos. To let the spring months shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture. Part 2 features the beauty of Vintage Architecture, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life this year. So I am featuring photos of the The Buckingham Fountain, to honor the Today’s #SwitchOnSummer Celebration. The Buckingham Fountain is paid for–but not by the city, but through the Buckingham Fountain Endowment Fund, in which Kate Buckingham originally established, so that the Chicago taxpayers would never have to foot the bill of fountain costs. The fountain had received a $2.8 million restoration in the year 1994. My featured photos of The Buckingham Fountain–Very Beautiful, indeed!

  1. Yeah!!! I’m so glad the fountain is back on. It was such a bummer to not even have it on last year. The pictures are great. Thanks for the different vantage points!
