Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – Vintage Architecture

Here is today’s featured photo. To let the spring months shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture. Part 2 features the beauty of Vintage Architecture, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life this year. Always a bright and spectacular site on a warm and summer night, the Central Square Building in the great vintage river City of Lockport, Illinois. The building still stands strong into today, and the photo here shows the building in its meticulous stage during the year 1982! The building goes through constant upkeep and a building made with this style of limestone is in need of that style of love and care. The whole city of Lockport features old architecture that is stunning and dazzling, due to its age–dating back to the early and mid 19th century when river-front location held boating the way to transport, offering a great and vast array of jobs and opportunities available in those times. How lovely!!

Photo taken with a tripod mounted Nikon EM-through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=NONE, Aperture=5.6 f/stop, shutter-speed 4 seconds, loaded with Kodak Plus-X Black & White 135 Negative Film ISO (ASA) 125 (fine grain) processed with D-76 Processing Chemicals, and a fiber paper print using the Kodak Professional “warm-tone” enlargement paper developed with Kodak Dektol chemicals onto a 3½x5″ matte-gloss print. Date – July – 1982.

Another fine Architectural photograph to follow very soon: Feature – Part 2: Vintage Architecture!!
