Today’s featured photo of the day! The feature is: Architecture – Vintage Architecture

Here is today’s featured photos. To let the spring months shine, I am featuring fine photos of great architecture. Part 2 features the beauty of Vintage Architecture, so we can continue to honor the brighter side of life this year. So, here are 4 stunning photos of the world famous 3,300-foot-long Navy Pier, the place familiar with summer festivals and its world famous Ferris wheel! Navy Pier has a history before public entertainment, opening on July 15, 1916. The pier served as a dock for freights, passenger traffic, and indoor and outdoor recreation; events like expositions and pageants were held there. My set of photos are from 1981-1982, each year with the festival of the then ChicagoFest.
