The latest report for the landfall for Marco! It appears to be moving towards the mouth of the Missisipi River dead center with storm surge warnings up from Grand Bay–Florida, Alabama border in the Gulf of Mexico west all the way to Sabine Pass–Louisiana, Texas border. Storm surge can be from 4-6 feet at or around Route 1 and also Route 23 in Louisiana. Do not stay in low lying areas, Landfall is due in sometime right after 7 am CDT, with peak times between 9 am to 2 pm. Please be ready for power outages and if you can get out now! The roads are already packed, and you do not want to stay in these low lying areas.
