Today’s featured photo of the day! November’s feature is: California
Here is today’s featured photo. For the month of November I am featuring photos of California. As we are getting closer to the end of the month, I shift the focus to Orange County with this scenic view from a northern view of a window in a room at the Disneyland Hotel. A sort of Rayleigh scattering effect has caused a crimson shade on the landscape and a pink hue 180° opposite to the sunset. How stunning! Date – November 1991.
Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/30th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.
☼TIP: Always use a polarizer when taking photos through a window at close range, just in case, and have the direction of the polarizer maxed out on cutting the window reflection. Nothing worse than coming up with a batch of photos whereby they are earmarked with annoying room window reflection interference, and worse yet, not seeing it until it is way too late to do the shoot again. ☼
See you tomorrow with another fine photograph of my favorite state to vacation–California!!
