Today’s featured photo of the day! November’s feature is: California
Here is today’s featured photo. For the month of November I am featuring photos of California. The Pacific Ocean is such a scene! The beauty of the ocean a couple hours right before the sunset is illustrated, as I took the following photo right off of scenic California Route 1. Even though the Pacific is much cooler than the Atlantic, the sets of waves lined up are much more picturesque! Date – November 1991.
Photo taken with a Nikon FE camera through a Nikon 26 mm lens, filter=polarizer, Aperture=16 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/125th second, loaded with Fujicolor 400 Color 135 Negative Film processed with C-41 Processing Chemicals, and a Type C Print using the RA-4 enlargement paper process, onto a 4X6″ semi-gloss print.
☼TIP: Letting more light through despite the meter reading while taking a photo within 90° of the sun while the sun is less than 45° of the horizon will ensure than the subject, the landscape, does not come out underexposed. Using programs and/or apps such as Lightroom help, but a better exposure in the first place should be the goal, and will yield with much better results. ☼
See you tomorrow with another fine photograph of my favorite state to vacation–California!!
