Today’s featured photo of the day! September’s feature is: Infrared Photography
Here is today’s featured photo. For the month of September I am featuring Infrared photography as the style. For today, to get a better perspective of how animal shots go with infrared, I am posting two photos of my pup Lady from back in the 80’s. The first one shows the infrared shot. The second one is normal black and white film.
Photo taken with a Nikon EM camera through a Nikon 50 mm lens, filter=red #25 filter, Aperture=5.6 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/30th second, loaded with Kodak High Speed Infrared HIE 135-20 Black & White Film processed using Kodak D-76 Chemicals using a black colored universal tank with metal reel. Enlargement processed 100% negative size onto 3½x5″ smooth semi-gloss image enlargement paper using Dektol/Stop Bath/Fixer chemistry.
Photo taken with tripod mounted Nikon EM camera through a Nikon 50 mm lens, filter=NONE, Aperture=5.6 f/stop, shutter-speed 1/60th second, loaded with Kodak Tri-X Pan 400-135-20 Black & White Film processed using Kodak D-76 Chemicals using a standard universal tank with metal reel. ☼FACT: Animal black and white photography has made a great comeback in recent, digital years.☼
Enjoy, and see you tomorrow with another fine Infrared photograph!!
