Once you find an unclaimed property in your name, adhere to the filing instructions on each website. Every state, territory or other governement entity has its own regulations, so the time period and ways and means of filing vary state to state. Patience. . .patience will be needed, but the website will be able to give an ETA on obtaining your unclaimed property.
