A Brief History:
Origination: National Cocoa Day celebrates the origin of cocoa. All modern chocolate contains at least a trace of pure cocoa before iti s mixed down. People celebrate every day with cocoa through modern chocolate, and special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays and a great day, to go alongside its prodege chocolate. The history of cocoa and its creation in tandem with chocolate bean can be traced from the Xocolatl-loving Olmec, Maya and Aztecs of Mexico dating back to the era of between 1900 BC to 1500 BC. The Maya considered cocoa (chocolate) to be food of the gods, with the cacao tree being held to be sacred. They also buried dignitaries with bowls of cocoa (chocolate).

- 100% chocolate is made of 100% cocoa mass.
- Dark chocolate contains 65% to 99% cocoa mass and 1% to 40% sugar.
- Dark milk chocolate contains 50% to 70% cocoa mass, 20% to 30% milk powder, and 20% to 30% sugar.
More Recent Evolution: Since the Mayan period, the list of ingredients with the relation to most chocolate products has expanded vastly past simple cacao. Companies have reduced the cocoa content to decrease costs related to production and also to increase cOCOA AND chocolate’s shelf life, making the once very valuable delicacy to have varying and limitless variety.
The Last Few Centuries: In the late 17th century people began to mix cocoa (chocolate) drinks with milk to make them taste better. Cocoa has been around for several sets of centuries. The first chocolate factory in America opened in 1765.
More Recently: Today, cocoa (chocolate) is still the very delicious dessert that it has always attained from back in the old days every year. Every year, countless companies come out with a new variation, and present companies introduce different renditions and even “limited edition” variations of the recipes used to produce cocoa and /or cocoa (chocolate) products. More and more renditions and recipes have arisen in more recent years. The microwave had given more opportunities and different styles, especially after inventing the cup-shaped round and square microwavable light grey surfaces that refract the microwave to ensure more even cooking.
