Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF of the whole loop of Atlantic Category 5 Hurricane Erin, an Atlantic tropical storm which affected areas in or near Cape Verde, Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, Lucayan Archipelago. Erin started out in the far eastern Atlantic 1/2° west off the shores of Guinea, Africa at 10°N, 14°W, moving west to northwest, then west clear through the Atlantic approaching the area of the peak of both the Lesser & Greater Antilles–undergoing explosive intensification on August 16^th, reaching its peak, Category 5 intensity–with one-minute maximum sustained winds of 160 mph (260 km/h) and a minimum pressure of 915 mb (27.0 inHg). Erin then made a turn to the northwest, getting caught up in the blocking Bermuda high that was over the United States, turning in north to later northeast and then dissipating at 40°N & 60°W, as featured all on one loop on .GIPHY.
