The Tickseed
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2025 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Tickseed.
The Tickseed, or the Coreopsis, is a flowering plant known for its bright, daisy-like blooms and long bloom time. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. Key features include attracting pollinators, being deer-resistant, and tolerating drought. Care involves regular watering, deadheading, and potential propagation. Notable species include Coreopsis grandiflora, verticillata, rosea, lanceolata, and tinctoria.
