The case alleged that the product packaging misled consumers into believing that the product was non-GMO when, in fact, it contained genetically modified ingredients. If you purchased Deep River potato chips labeled as containing “Non-GMO Ingredients” between Feb. 2, 2017, and Dec. 6, 2024, you may be eligible for payment. | |
| 07/31/25 | U.S. chicken processors (raw chicken price fixing) | Various U.S. chicken processors | Several chicken processors agreed to settle allegations that they colluded to increase the price of raw chicken. This latest settlement expands the settlement fund established with another group of chicken processors in 2023. If you purchased fresh or frozen raw chicken from qualifying processors (listed on the settlement website homepage) in any one of 24 states or the District of Columbia between Jan. 1, 2012, and July 31, 2019, you may be eligible to receive a payment. (If you already submitted a claim for the original settlement, you do not need to submit another.) | |
| 08/05/25 | Mattress Firm (deceptive advertising) | Mattress Firm | Retailer Mattress Firm agreed to pay $5.48 to settle a case alleging that the company advertised deceptive discounts on its website, http://www.mattressfirm.com. If you are a California resident who purchased between one and four mattresses in a single transaction from http://www.MattressFirm.com between Aug. 1, 2020, and July 16, 2024, you may be eligible for payment. | |
| 08/15/25 | GameStop (privacy violations) | GameStop | GameStop, a video game retailer, agreed to pay $4.5 million to settle allegations that it violated the federal Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by sharing consumer information with Facebook. If you purchased a video game through the GameStop website between Aug. 18, 2020, and April 7, 2025, and you had a public Facebook profile using your real name at the time of purchase, you may be eligible for a cash payment of up to $5 or a voucher for $10 for use on GameStop’s website. | |
| 08/19/25 | Criterion (privacy violations) | The Criterion Collection | The Criterion Collection, a video streaming service, agreed to pay $4.5 million to settle allegations that the company violated subscribers’ privacy by sharing personal information with third parties, including Meta. If you were a registered user of, or had a subscription to, the Criterion Channel service (www.criterionchannel.com, Criterion Channel mobile app, or any other Criterion Collection video platform) in the U.S. at any time between Sept. 27, 2022, and Dec. 27, 2024, and you watched a prerecorded video during that period, you may be eligible for payment. If you used a debit or credit card to upload money for school lunches on the MySchoolBucks website between June 18, 2013, and July 31, 2019, and you uploaded money at least once on or after Jan. 1, 2015, you may be eligible for a payment. | |
| 08/25/25 | Gerber (fake claims) | Gerber | Baby food/formula brand Gerber, owned by Nestle, agreed to a multimillion settlement in a case alleging that the company falsely claimed its Gerber Good Start Gentle formula can reduce the risk of allergies, despite having no scientific evidence to support the claim. If you purchased Gerber Good Start Gentle infant formula in Florida or New York between Oct. 10, 2011, and April 23, 2016, you may be eligible for payment. | |
| 08/26/25 | Torrid (deceptive advertising) | Torrid | Fashion retailer Torrid agreed to pay a $10 settlement to resolve claims that the company advertised deceptive discounts on its website. If you purchased merchandise on Torrid.com while living in Oregon, California or Washington between Jan. 1, 2020, and Feb. 18, 2025, you may be eligible for a $15 payment or a $15 store voucher. | |
| 09/25/25 | Kipling (false discounts—California) | Kipling | Kipling, which sells handbags, backpacks, luggage and other accessories, agreed to a settlement to resolve claims that it advertised discounts on prices that were never actually used to sell the products. If you purchased one or more products at any Kipling’s outlet store in California between Dec. 8, 2019, and May 29, 2025, you may be eligible for a $10 store voucher. (If you received an email notice of the settlement, you will receive the voucher automatically. Otherwise, you must submit a claim.) | |
| 10/15/25 | Similasan (eye drops deceptive labeling) | Similasan | Similasan, a homeopathic remedy maker, agreed to pay $3.575 million to settle allegations that its labeling of eye drop products as “homeopathic” without appropriate FDA approvals was deceptive. If you purchased any of the qualifying Similasan drops or one of the four private-label CVS and Walgreens drops made by Similasan (see question 7, “What Are the Covered Products?”: homeopathiceyedropsettlement.com/faqs) between Sept. 11, 2017, and Feb. 20, 2025, you may be eligible for payment. | |
| 10/27/25 | Align Technology/Smile Direct Club (antitrust violations) | Align Technology/Smile Direct Club (antitrust violations) | Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign clear dental straighteners, agreed to pay $31.75 million to settle allegations that the company violated antitrust laws by colluding with SmileDirectClub to suppress market competition. If you purchased, paid for and/or provided reimbursement for some or all of the purchase price for SmileDirectClub aligners purchased for personal use between Oct. 22, 2017, and Aug. 18, 2022, you may be eligible payment. (If you are not identified in SmileDirectClub’s records as a purchaser, you will not receive a settlement payment automatically, and must file a claim form.) | |
| 11/24/25 | Evenflo (false claims) | Evenflo | Evenflo, which makes products for infants and small children, agreed to settle a case alleging that the company misled consumers into purchasing its “Big Kid” booster seats by claiming they were “side impact tested” and safe for children weighing 30 pounds or more when, allegedly, they were not as safe or thoroughly tested as promised in the product marketing materials. If you purchased an Evenflo “Big Kid” booster seat between Jan. 1, 2008, and Dec. 31, 2022, you may be eligible to receive payment and a credit toward a future Evenflo purchase. | |
| 12/09/25 | Washington Nationals (age discrimination) | Washington Nationals Baseball Club | The Washington Nationals Baseball Club agreed to pay $3 million to settle allegations of age discrimination, in violation of the Washington, D.C. Human Rights Act, resulting from the organization’s denial of access for older baseball fans to a “Millennial” ticket discount. Consumers aged 40 or older who, between March 29, 2023, and March 28, 2024, purchased, on the Nationals or MLB.com websites, by phone or at the Nationals’ box office, an eligible single-game ticket to a Washington Nationals home baseball game scheduled to occur during the 2023 or 2024 MLB regular season may be eligible for a payment or a ticket credit. | |
| 03/29/27 | Hyundai and Kia (defective airbags) | Hyundai-Kia | Automobile companies Hyundai and Kia agreed to a $62.1 million settlement to resolve allegations that certain of their vehicles contain defective airbag control units, which may fail during a collision. If you owned or leased a qualifying Hyundai or Kia vehicle (listed here) in the U.S. on April 14, 2025, you may be eligible for settlement benefits, which include reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses and a separate payment. | |
