Easter is Here:
The final day of Holy week is here today—Easter Sunday! The whole season started with Ash Wednesday. Forty days and forty nights (Excluding the sabbath days–Sundays), with six weeks of Fridays before Holy week. Holy week entails the celebration of The Lord’s (Last) Supper, or Maundy Thursday, then the complete sacrifice if Good Friday on the seventh Friday of Lent to be the final day of Lent in order to celebrate the ultimate sacrifice in the name of divine countenance and favor of mankind-His crucifixion. Passover started Friday this year, and goes until and ends on the evening of Saturday April 23rd. Now, today for Christians it is Easter Sunday, a day for a time of celebration to celebrate our Savior’s rise to sit on the right hand of God the Father.And now a prayer:
Easter Prayer: “O Father, we express our gratitude for the resurrection of Your Son, Jesus. As we celebrate Him daily in a world that is becoming ever more shadowed, Jesus empowers us to carry His light consistently throughout each hour. We appreciate the strength. You provide us to speak with the same boldness as Mary Magdalene, enabling us to proclaim Your good news without shame. In the name of Jesus.”
