Recap of the  “Solar Horns” Partial Solar Eclipse:

On March 29, 2025, the Moon transited in front of the Sun, partially obscuring it and casting a shadow over certain regions of the Northern Hemisphere, presenting a partial solar eclipse. The area of the Moon’s shadow where the Sun was entirely obscured was not aligned with the Earth’s center, resulting in no observers witnessing a total solar eclipse. Those watching the event were required to use appropriate eye protection or indirect viewing techniques to safeguard their vision. A partial solar eclipse was visible in various regions, including parts of North America, Europe, Africa, northern Asia, small areas of South America, as well as throughout Greenland, Iceland, and significant portions of the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. The U.S. states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia plus also District of Columbia had a sunrise partial eclipse Saturday morning. In many areas of the Americas, particularly the northeastern United States, the partial eclipse was already underway at sunrise. In western Europe and northwestern Africa, the eclipse commenced during the mid to late morning hours. In eastern Europe and northern Asia, the majority of the eclipse occurred in the afternoon or early evening. Here is the satellite view.

Here are the videos of the March 29th partial solar eclipse in the northern hemisphere.

An Eclipse Never Comes Alone!
A solar eclipse always occurs about two weeks before or after a lunar eclipse.
