On Video & .GIPHY: Atlantic Tropical Storm Gordon: September 8th to September 17th, 2024:
Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF & video of the whole loop of Atlantic Tropical Storm Gordon, which started out 4° west to southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands at 12°N & 27°W (hard to tell with the work by NOAA dealing with labeling bad frame times) in the remaining over the central Atlantic Ocean with the exception of affecting the Cabo Verde Islands with no damage. The storm moved moderately westward until 20°N & 49°W, before fizzling due to shear, as featured all on one loop on .GIPHY.
Official damage report: $0, NO deaths.

The fourth inconsistency with a NOAA failure of the year, first in Atlantic:
| A FIRST ATLANTIC NWS/NOAA ERROR (4th of year):
The image placeholder in the wrong spot, and/or the image being out of sequence for frame #03 to #07 on 09/09/2024 and then also an additional set of frames while the disturbance turned orange from 09/10/2024 to 09/11/2024. The importance of accurate forecasting is based on the materials being furnished by NOAA/NHC. Even though Gordon did not pose a problem in terms of having major damage, it does not justify sloppy and/or negligent imagery concerning the tropics. This year this is the fourth incidence of mistakes from NHC. There is no room for excuse when it comes to proper image placement and/or sequence. Forecasters depend on meticulous and accurate imagery. Other departments of the Federal government have produced results that affect peoples lives. I am powerless over my suggestion that the Federal government focus on better forecasting and less focus on the “climate crisis” and/or “green deal”. The actions of the Federal government have cuase d their own crisis in terms of not accurately furnishing materials for forecasters to make a forecast, and for government to warn people of an emergency. If you have had an emergency in your area this year. feel free to comment in the comment section Thank you! |
