• Tell me how easy it is to embrace love between the local police officer with the woman who lives with him.

It was a heartwarming and fun love story to write — two people that truly need each other to be complete and happy. 

• How easy is it to balance between the time it takes to develop a loving relationship and being on the job being a police officer.

During my research, I read a lot about the challenges of being a police officer. Because of the work hours and demands of the job, some officers can find maintaining a romantic relationship challenging. 

• Tell me how easy it is for the mate being in relation with a police officer whose integrity is with the community civil service.

For a person like my character Raven, who is a business woman involved in her community, she takes pride in being with a person dedicated to community service—and also worries about his safety. When he’s injured in the story, it leads her to understand her feelings more clearly.

• You can elaborate on any other details with the fine characters in “Hotheaded Heart”

I enjoyed writing about a variety of professions in my series, from police and firefighters to lawyers, teachers and real estate agents. There is a bachelor auction in Hotheaded Heart where you see many of the characters in the coming books—Book 2 will be available soon!
