Whitestar Morning Glory

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let 2024 shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Whitestar Morning Glory.

The Whitestar Morning Glory, or Ipomoea Lacunosa, part of the Ipomoea family, is a native North American plant that is a member of the morning glory family. It is an annual vine that can climb or trail, and can be found in many different types of habitats, including roadsides, waste areas, and wetlands. Whitestar morning glory has simple leaves with lobes or teeth, and white corollas that are 10–23 mm long. Its flower petals can be blue, purple, pink, red, or white..

  • Height : 3 to 8 feet (91cm – 244cm)
  • Width : 5 to 20 feet (152cm – 610cm)
  • Exposure : Full Sun or partial shade
