Origination: The events of National Student Nurse Day and National School Nurse Day coincidentally happen the same week as National Nurses Week.

Student Nurse Day: Student Nurses are on the forefront of technological advancements, acquiring knowledge of the most recent life-saving methods. Simultaneously, they are honing their skills through structured programs grounded in medical research. The need for nurses continues to rise annually. Presently, the field of nursing requires individuals who are committed to the practice of medicine more than ever before. Their passion for providing care, expanding their knowledge, and specializing in nursing will have a significant impact on the well-being of countless individuals and their families annually.

School Nurse Day: School nurses are frequently the initial destination for students who are unwell or injured. However, they also offer a plethora of valuable information that contributes to a fruitful education. This observance serves as a reminder of the various reasons why the nurse is accessible to your school. In addition to tending to scrapes on the playground and checking for fevers at the onset of illness, school nurses act as first responders for medical issues and administer mid-day medication doses.
