Fragrance is Fresh & Delicate:
With So Many Worlds of Scent:  There are so many scents of fragrance. Some reveal natural presence, and yet some just make you feel serene. Some are cool and crisp, and some make it feel like a night on the town. Fragrance is a sweet or delicate scent, or a material compounded to give off a sweet or pleasant scent, or having the quality or state of having a sweet scent.

Fragrance. . .Or Is it Perfume? A fragrance is a combination of organic compounds that produce a distinct smell called a scent or aroma. Scent is defined as a pleasant odor, but the word “odor” has become a derogatory term in modern English, and is considered to be too brash to be used in a sentence in a positive manner. Perfume is a liquid mixture used to emit a pleasant scent, concocted by manmade means, but sometimes being made from natural, organic, and/or completely manmade consistency. It is formed from fragrant essential oils derived from plants, spices and/or synthetic aromatic compounds. But all in all, perfume is the existing. . .liquid existence of a material liquid or mist that is sprayed on to emit a fragrance. Fragrance is the actual existence of aroma in the air that is activating the sense of smell.

The Original Meaning of Fragrance: A sweet or delicate scent.” It comes from the Latin word frāgrantia, and the verb frāgrāre, which means “to smell sweet.

A Celebration: Perfume and Cologne are both among the best favored gifts. Whichever season is present, there is a scent to go alongside the particular season.

Celebrated: Fragrance day is celebrated every year on March 21st!

The Past:
The earliest traces to fragrance go back to ancient Mesopotamia, with the first form of perfume was incense, about 4000 years ago. The world’s first recorded chemist was a woman named Tapputi, a perfume maker whose existence was recorded in 1200 B.C.–recorded on a Cuneiform tablet in Babylonian Mesopotamia. There are other various renditions recorded in the regions of India, Cyprus and Islam–from 3500 B.C. to 1300 B.C. More recently the tradition of Cologne and Perfume modern times has grown accustom to was deeply invented in the Cologne regions of France when Louis XV came to the throne by the 18th century. His court was termed “la cour parfumée” (the perfumed court). Madame de Pompadour ordered a generous supply of perfume with King Louis demanding a different fragrance every day.

The Present:
Have you made a decision which cologne or perfume you would love to give or receive? What can you do today to relax and enjoy the natural elements with a fragrance?

The Future:
People all over the world, are going to continue to cherish fragrance, one of the world’s better gifts, way into the future. . .
