Meet our 31 Featured Teachers For Each Day of January

It’s a new year, which means teachers are heading back to school and re-stocking their classrooms. What most people aren’t aware of is how much of their own money teachers are spending to purchase necessary supplies, so Teacher Feature began in 2023 as a way to help address the problem, raise awareness for what educators do and encourage people to donate to their Amazon wishlists! Contest Corner published this article last year interviewing several teachers to find out why they buy so many items for their classrooms, and the responses varied: Some had to purchase basic essentials like paper and ink because they weren’t provided by the school; others provide supplies for children in need, and snacks for hungry children who come to school without breakfast. The cost of purchasing all these items for an entire classroom adds up fast – one teacher even shared that they had incurred debt just getting materials to do their job. But we can help!

During holiday breaks, teachers are busy on social media sharing their classroom supply wishlists in hopes of getting donations to “Clear The List”! We’re highlighting 31 fabulous educators for each day of January – please browse the wishlists below and consider donating an item! Most of these supplies only cost a few bucks each, and if we call pitch in, we can provide for these teachers that provide so much for their students! And if you’re strapped for cash after the holidays, you can still help enormously by sharing this post – the more people see this, the more donations we can get for these deserving educators!
