Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Light Pink Alstroemeria Flower
Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Light Pink Alstroemeria Flower.
The Blush Light Peruvian Lily or the Dianthus Alstroemeria Aurea L., in the Alstroemeriaceae family, is a tuberous perennial native to South America. The Blush Light Peruvian Lily is a fresh, light, and pink colored flower set that is a DIY bride’s favorite due to the fact they have 4 to 6 small blooms on each stem–and very hardy, and delicate appeal. The Blush Light Peruvian Lily is a great Filler Flower and perfect for DIY bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony arrangements. The Blush Light Peruvian Lily grows to the size of between 12 inches top as much as 36 inches tall and groves the width of 1 to to feet, and a flower size of about 2 inches. The Blush Light Peruvian Lily thrives on fertile and well-drained soil, and full sun or partial shade. Flowering may slow down or even stop in the hot weather, so it is imperative to apply a thick s layer of mulch at planting time, in order to keep the roots cool, ,and prolong the bloom.
