Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Mistral Bright Red Petunia.
The Mistral Bright Red Petunia, or the Petunia Hybrida Grandiflora Nana are annual flowers that are compact, and stand out with their rich bright red blossoms. The Mistral Bright Red Petunia is native to South America, and among the 35 known species of Petunias with different colors of trumpet-shaped blooms. The Mistral Bright Red Petunia range from 2-1/2 inches to 4 inches in diameter, and grow to a height of 5 to 24 inches tall and spreading up to 36 inches wide. The Mistral Bright Red Petunia grows best full sun, so plant them in an area where they will get at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
