On .GIPHY: Hurricane Fiona: September 12th to September 24th, 2022:
Because of the beauty from the eye in the sky. . .I am featuring a .GIF of the whole loop of Hurricane Fiona, which started at 38°W longitude in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on September 12th, meandering over towards the Lesser Antilles as it gains tropical storm strength, then as it passes, it took a turn towards Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands, eventually gaining hurricane strength for the devastating landfall on September 19th, with a path of destruction and causing at least five deaths within the Caribbean. Fiona took maximum westward movement at 72°W longitude on September 20th, and turned with amazing forward speed in a due north movement, shifting towards northeast, headed right towards Nova Scotia, Canada. On September 23rd, with almost record northeasterly movement, Fiona moved nearly 15° in a six hour period, with a landfall over Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, Canada–causing 1 more casualty and major damage., Fiona eventually became slower because of overrunning the extra tropical air mass right into a maritime/polar air mass above Canada, on September 24th. Hurricane Fiona did not affect any part of the United States, except Puerto Rico, and here the whole storm can be seen all on one loop, featured on .GIPHY:
