Today’s Featured Flower Photo of the Day: Hooded Blue Violet or the Common Blue Violet, Meadow Violet, and Sister Violet (same variety)

Here is today’s featured photo flower presentation. To let this year shine bright, I am featuring fine photos of flowers, continuing to honor the brighter side of life again this year. Today’s Flower of the day is the Hooded Blue Violet or the Common Blue Violet, Meadow Violet, and Sister Violet (All names are same variety)

The Hooded Blue Violet or the Common Blue Violet is a shared name, depending on which background you search. Other names include the Meadow Violet and the Sister Violet. This flower is from the Viola Sororia genre and is a groundcovers perennial that grows to the size of 6-12 inches in height, and tend to attract butterflies. These bloom about a full month after the season start of blooming has started depending on your area of flower bloom, but clearly always before the season of summer starts. The Hooded (Common) Blue Violet is best suited in the full or partial Sun.
